March 27, 2011 - Departure - Day One
Woke up at 6:00, finished packing everything to make it all fit.
Our ride picked us up at 9:00, we got checked in and got boading pass number 3.
While waiting Laurence and Mei (DisneyHonu on the Disboards) met us in the terminal, we then met up
with Caldisfans, PenguinAddict and MerryGirl in the terminal.
While waiting for boarding, opened up the registration for youth activities, then shortlay after that
started boarding at around 11:45 AM, since we were in group 3, we were boarded fairly quickly after
that.
We stopped by guest relations to make sure that they knew that we were DVC members and got seats
for us and DisneyHonu at Parrot Cay. We had a great lunch. I had Potatoes, vegetables, the beef. DW
and I shared a few of the desserts, then we all went to Wavebands to try to get Palo reservations for
brunch, which was no problem. After that we went to wait for our room to be ready, once it was,
we went to our room and got settled. We found our Castaway Club gift, which turned oout to be
quite helpfuls since our FE somehow did not get packed, so we used out Castaway Club bag as our FE
(confused out Stateroom host at first).
We went to the Prommenade loungs for our Disboard meet, which was a lot of fun and that is where
the FE lists were distributed as so many people didn't get their room assignments until they checked in for the cruise.
After the Disboard meet, we went back to the room and changed and headed out for the All aboard
show, which was a lot of fun, then we went to dinner. We had Tritons for Dinner. I had the Mushroom
Tart, French Onion Soup, the Beef Tenderloin and the Sundae for dessert. DW had Escargot, French
Onion Soup, the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Seasonal Fruit for dessert.
The mushrrom tart was o.k., the French Onioon soup was good, but needed Salt and Pepper. The beef
tendorlion was delicious as was the Sundae. DW liked the escargot, really liked the French Onion Soup
as it was and enjoyed her Lobster Mac and Cheese, but thought that the lobster was a little chewy. She
also said her seasonal fruits were rally good and enjoyed finding a sugar free cooke that was soft. She
loves soft cookies, but is diabetic (her doctor letrs her have some sugar , but not to overdo it, so she eats
sugar free when she can find it on this cruise), it is often hard to find sugar free cookies that are soft.
We realized shortly before Dinner that our Palo brunch intefered with out assigned Character breakfast,
so we talked with our head server and he talked to the Palo Manager and gout our Brunch moved to
Monday, instead of Tuesday.
After that we were exhausted from the day, so we went back to the room, when we got back we found
our DVC magnet was on the door and that we had a DVC gift on our bed as well as a towel monkey
hanging around.

March 28, 2011 - Day Two - At Sea - Formal Night
We ended up getting up just in eoungh time to get to our brunch at Palo, which was amazing! I had
several of the breads and cheeses, as well as pastries, then I had the Egg Florenbtine and Cream of
Streawberry soup. I then had Chicke Parmmesan. DW had the grape and gargonzola pizza, several of
the different things from the self server area and the Chicken Parmesan. The Chicken Parmesan was
delicious and the Rissoto was cooked perfectly.
After brunch, we were stuffed and went back to the room to get changed and ready for the DVC
Members presentation, we won a couple of Passport holders and got all of the normal freebies, such as
hats, lanyards, tote bag, etc.
Our goal was to make it down in time for Name that Disney Tune, then stay for the Disney Wonder
Quest, but we did not make it down there until they were grading the papers for name that Disney
Tune, but DW still won a key chain for knowing that Susan Egan was the first to perform Belle on
Broadway :)
We did then stay for Disney Wonder Quest and that was a lot of fun, we were able to provide a few of
the items for our team having just come from the DVC presentation and still had the stuff in tow.
We were going to go to the matinee of the Golden Mickeys, but there was not enough time to do so,
so we went back too the room for a quick nap and then get everything ready for dinner as this is formal
night.
We took a bit of a nap, then headed out to the Captains Reception and took a photo with the captain,
then headed over to The Golden Mickeys, which was an amazing show. As with last time, the show was
amazing and a ton of fun to watch.
After that we went to see the family comedy show with Michael Holly, there were some crazy kids at
the show, but it was indeed a lot of fun and he seems to be a very talented guy.
Then it was time for dinner.....yummy! Tonight is of course The Golden Mickeys menu. I had the Three
Cheese Ravaoly, the Walnuts and Cheese Soup and the Steak for the entree. DW had the Asparagus,
the Walnut and Blue Cheese Soup (minnus the Walnuts of course), the Duck and some of the Gnocchi.
For dessert I first tried the Apple and Blueberry dessert, but I did not like it at all, so I got the Chocolate
dessert instead. DW had the sugar free cheesecake.
After dinner, we went to see the Adult show of Heath Hyce, which was a lot of fun, then we went back
to the room. We ordered Room Service and got some Mikey Bars and Cheese Pizza.

March 29th, 2011 - Day Three - At Sea
DW went to the scrapbooking class to get her freebies, while I got things ready for our character
breakfast.
We then went to the Character Breakfast, the food was O.K., but definitely not great, but it as fun to see
the characters and have them sign the iPad, you can tell it as not a common thing for them to do, but it
worked out fairly well.
After breakfast we went back to the room to put my iPad back and such. After that we went to the DVC
presentation, as DisneyHonu was going to get more information and to try to win the $300 shipboard
credit. We also saw PenguinAddict was there, whom we referred.
After that we went back to the room before the prensetation by Mark Watters, which was a lot of fun
and informative. DW even went up and talked with him after his presentation.
After that there was nothing that was really interesting to us, so we enjoyed waling around the ship for a
bit and went back to the cabin for a little while, then got reayd and went to the show, which was Heath
Hyce, again it ws a lot of fun.
Then it was time for Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer, which we also did after dinner (never got called
though).
After that it was time for the Adult show with Michael Holly. It was extremely busy, but he was great.

We tried just about all of the desserts between all of us at the table, we took pictures, which you can see at my gallery pictures (link is at the bottom of this page). I do not think they warrant being posted on here, to be honest it seems that when DCL focuses on atmosphere they forget about the food quality. This is unfortunate because the restaurant is amazing, but the food suffers a lot.
March 30th, 2011 - Day Four - Puerto Vallarta
Ok, so we got up and went to breakfast at Triton and Jose was our server, we had him for our meal at
Parrot Cay when we first boarded on our previous cruise and he remembered us, we thought he looked
familiar, but we weren't sure, he was the one that mentioned it. He even remembered exactly where we
were sitting. I find that amazing, but then again this was an event that repeated throughout the cruise
with various CMs. One sid that she remembered us because we were so friendly and nice and actually
begged us to go on the Alaska cruise, but that is another story.
After breakfast we decided to get off the ship, we took a Taxi to downtown. DW came across a booth
with a guy that offered us a "free map" (never go to these guys). He pointed out that down tows is what
we call a tourist trap (be that as it may, stay there anyway). For $15 he offered us a taxi ride out to a
resort, day use of the resort, then a taxi out to a local Mercado (market) that has natives that make
cool things, lunch and a ride back to the ship. That is all good and well, but once we go to the resort, we
found out that there was "90 minute" timeshare presentation that we would need to attend, but with
no obligation, so we said ok. Now we had a tour of the resort, had lunch, the toured the model units,
everything that would be done in a normal timeshare presentation. Now of course they wanted to tlk
price and all, well it seemed like a nice place, so we were curious. This was the mistake, we should have
just said no at this point. Their prices were about double that of DVC and provided 1/2 the benefits. they
even offered to buy out our DVC membership at one point. Then they accused us of lying about even
being married, which really got me. We had arrived at about 9:30 AM, come about 3:30 PM, I insisted
that they give us our taxi ride back to the ship. If you think that there is high ressure at most timeshare
presentations in the U.S., you should see Mexico. On a side note, DVC presentations are truly zero
pressure, when we first looked at it, we were unable to do it at that time; however, about a year later
we went back nd were able to do it because they were now offering incentives that made it possible.
The closest that DVC has to pressure is that there may be incentives that may simply not be offered later
on, but there will usually be different incentives available.
By this time we were completely exhausted, so we went back to the cabin and rest, they had pput us out
in the hot sun during good portion of this as well, so we were also overheated. After relaxing for a bit
we got ready and went to Toy Story the Musical, this show needs a bit of work, here is what I thought
about it:
Good:
After the show we went to see Glenn Foster in wavebands. (For those that were there, all I have to sy is
Cousins!) There was a roudy bunch there, but all in all it was a lot of fun.
Then it was time for dinner.

about it:
Good:
- The sets were very well done, especially the Green Aliens.
- The costumes were very well done
- The transitions between scenes with Sid and Andy and those without them were done fairly well
- The music was very repetitive (I think they should get Mark Watters to redo the music, I think it would work out very well).
- Too many of the principals (such as Rex, Mr. Potato Head, etc.) were prerecorded. When I go to a stage how, I understand having some prerecorded ensemble voices to fill in and make it sound better, but the principals should all be live.
- The story was too slow in many parts and too quick to in others, which meant that you had to know the movie in order to follow the show. I t should be able to stand on it's own.

March 31st, 2011 - Day 5 - Cabo San Lucas
After yesterday's mess we decided to stay on the ship today.
As you can see on the Navigator, there wasn't much going during the day today, so we just took it easy
and enjoyed a less crowded ship. i did go to Cruisin' for Disney Trvia today, unfortunately we did not
win.
I tried to go and what Gnomeo and Julliet; however, after about 45 minutes I just couldn't get into it and
headed back to the cabin.
We did got to see Mars Needs Moms and thought it was pretty good. After that we went to A Pirate's
Life for Me, which was fun to watch. Then it was once again time for dinner.

After dinner it was of course time for Pirates in the Caribean Deck party. This was a lot of fun and was
cool to see fireworks out at see. We didn't get this on our two day cruise, so it was definitely a lot of fun.
I am still curious a to why Disney is allowed to shoot off fireworksa at se and no other cruise line is.
After the deck party DW wanted to go back to the room, I went through the buffet and got some food
and took it back to the room. Jose even got me a tray to make it easier to do so. Aftrer enjoying what I
brought back, I went back up to catch the tail end of the dessert buffet.

April 1st, 2011 - Day 6 - Cabo San Lucas
We decided to tender in today, so we got up early and took tender in, we got breakfast at a local
restaurant. It was definitely reallly good; however, a bit pricey because we were in the tourist trap area.
We paid and waited for the shops to open up. We ended up going through a flee market and getting a
few souvenirs there, then headed back towards the ship. We had absolutely no wait for a tender. I find
it interesting that there was more security getting back on the ships from port then there was when we
initially boarded the ship in the U.S.
We went to see Minnie's Fiesta Grande, which was a very cool little show. We also got some Pizza, then
went to the Goodie Giveaway Bingo and got a free card because we had gotten the code the last tiem
we played (I don't remember which session that was, but it was only because we got a free card then as
well, we never pay for them).
We then went back to the cabin to get dressed and ready for the night and went to see the on Ron Lucas
show, which once again ws amazing. They never said we couldn't record this show, so I was and got
called out on it. Unfortunately my battery was bout to die at that moment, so I had to stop anyway.
After the show we went to Free Card Bingo and got our free cards, once again we did not win and it was
time for dinner.

April 2nd, 2011 - Day 7 - Final Day at Sea :(
Ok, so we find us on our final dy of the cruise, which is always a sad event. We went to the DVC
presentation once again (we really wanted the $300 credit), we won one of the pins this time AND won
the $300 shipboard credit :)
Now our problem was that we only had the rest of the day to spend it and we still had about $15 in
shipboard credit, so it was time to go shopping for souvenirs today (massively). We also bought non-
alcoholic mixed drinks today. We still ended up wleft little over $7 left over (I guess we should have
taken that Laundry bag for $5...LOL).
After the DVC presentation we did go and look aroun the various gift shops and checked with Guest
Services to make sure that we didn't overspend, so we would know exactly how much we had already
spent.
Mark Watters had yet another presentation, so we went to see that, which was really good too. We had
to leave just before the QA session ended, because we were having an end of cruise Dis Meet. Not too
many people showed up for it, but it was cool none the less.
Then it was time to actually go and spend some money, then we went back to the cabin to put
everything down and get ready for the how and dinner.
Tonight it is Disney Dreams. This show is good, but I still think that Golden Mickeys is the best of the
three shows put on by DCL on the Wonder.
After the show: More shopping and Dinner, then more shopping and the Til We Meet again show in the
Lobby.
Please note that the entire week the table next to us at dinner was empty, well we finally found out why....it was for the entertainers, Ron Lucas and Glen Foster were sitting there when we came in.
Then we headed back to the room and ordered room service for our final night. We wanted more
Mickey bars, but they had run out :( Oh well, they offered to send Banna Cream Pie instead, they sent
one Banna Cream Pie and one Cheesecake (oops), well, it was good none the less.
Also, today we had some extra stuff from our FE gifts, so we gave them to various CMs that had made
our days on the curise special.

April 3rd, 2011 - Disembarkation
We of course had the latest seating time for breakfast, since we had the late dining time for dinner.
Breakfast was just OK, but it gave us a final moment with our servers and DisneyHonu before
disembarking, which was cool.
After leaving the ship, we were going to use the elevator as it would be a lot easier with all of our
luggage (we had to use some of our reusable bags that we got for our FE gifts and the DVC member
presentation to carry everything), but the elevator in the ports was broken which caused a lot of
problems for those with strollers, as they are not allowed on the escalator.
We then went out and whited for our ride to pick us up.
